Five Random Things

I'm it. Greyhound was kind enough to include me in this ever so random of random discovery, isn't he a great guy? I guess I deserved it.

1) I could care less about cleaning my truck. I actually wish I was more anal about it, but it pretty much stays in a see-sawing state of "picked up" to "nasty". My bike enjoys the same care, unfortunately.

2) I don't enjoy yard work. Ha! That's about the funniest thing - me, starting a lawn business, and I don't enjoy the work. Well, I hated automotive sales too, and did that for 8 years....

3) I wish I had played guitar in a band. I'm a closet guitarist.

4) I actually enjoy doing taxes. Maybe this HR Block dealy is a step in the right direction. Bookkeeping, Accounting...who knows?

5) Except for organized boxing, I've never been in a fight. I mean, 4th and 6th grade don't count, really. You know, High School, College, going out to bars all the time, I mean, I was single until I was 28...you'd think someone along the way would have really needed thier ass kicked...

So there's 5 things...all true.

Guitar, I wouldn't have guessed.
Mike was in a band briefly. For a while when they first started out, the only thing they all knew together was Master of Puppets. They played it really loud. Over and over and over. In my basement. I was really glad when they learned something else.

I'm a closet guitarist too. I actually played with some friends a couple of years ago and it was a blast! I have dreams of playing and singing in a group someday. I guess that would be the "Middle-agers" or something..

Nice post. J-Wim always wanted me to play some Billy Joel crap and other stuff I couldn't stand. Give me metal or give me death.
I once woke up in the parking lot of a bar with my eye swollen shut. A bit too much liquor and my mouth got the best of me. You sure it wasn't you? I was in Florida at the time.

Maybe I bring the acoustic to CdA and we jam something? Black Sabbath Ironman perhaps?

Oh and clean your truck. A clean vehicle just seems to run better.

Just don't become a CPA! I tell everybody I'd rather be the nurse and not the doctor when it comes to accounting.

#5 -- me too!

in my twenties, i'd drink too much, and mouth off to guys too big for me who were dispensing attitude.

everytime i was about to get rightly punched, i'd sense something tall on both sides of me, and one step behind.

it was disappointing for my tall friends, never a punch got thrown. sometimes, they would even push me into dudes and hope.

all they wanted was someone else to throw the first punch, and a witness to the punch, and then it was on. it was SOOOOO on.

my.life.as.punch.bait.
